Product Description
The LS-SC100 Active air bacteria sampler is a porous suction type airborne bacteria sampler. The instrument structure is unique and novel, divided into two parts, the upper part includes the sampling port, plate and air pump, the lower part includes the controller and battery. The sampling opening and housing of the sampler are made of aviation aluminum. The surface is treated with closed holes to facilitate sterilization and disinfection before use. This instrument has the advantages of large sampling volume, stable performance and simple operation, reaching the advanced level of similar products, and is an ideal sampling instrument for the concentration of floating airborne bacteria in the testing departments of pharmaceutical factories, hospitals, biological products, food processing and public places.
Principle
Airborne bacteria sampler is a handheld device with built-in lithium battery. Based on the Anderson impact principle, the impact velocity is 16m/s, which is equivalent to an Anderson impact scale of eight. The air is sucked in through the sampling head, and hits a 90mm plate coated with AGAR. In this way, microbes in the air will be “captured” onto the AGAR. Bacteria colonies can be counted after the petri dish gets cultured in suitable conditions.
