Product Description

The Bioaerosol real-time monitor is a professional monitoring instrument with an alarm function. It’s used for real-time inline monitoring of microbes in the air (incl. bacteria, fungi, spores, viruses), which can realize monitoring of bioaerosol concentration in the air day and night. Once turned on, the instrument runs automatically, which keeps the operators away safe and from extra manual work. The monitor adopts UV-induced fluorescence (UV-LIF) technology, which can accurately distinguish biological and non-biological particles, and has high sensitivity and good anti-interference quality. It can be applied in epidemic prevention and control, large-scale event security, emergency security and bioterrorism monitoring.

Principle

Specific metabolic substances are present in active biological cells, and they will be induced of fluorescence under specific ultraviolet wavelengths (405nm). With the collection of fluorescence signals, the count of biological particles is completed.

With the instrument, the operator can meanwhile monitor active air microbes and air particles.

In this way, active microbes can be counted instantaneously without waiting time for culture.
